Puppy Notes
No puppy notes at this time but we are thinking about a possible litter late this summer or fall.
I want to thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts through this difficult time. Things have not been the same since last November and will never be the same again. We made it through the trial May 9th for the assault on me, of which the verdict was a very resounding GUILTY. I could not believe the looks of disgust and the way they said it as each and every person on the jury said that word as they were polled. It was as if they were all so disgusted that someone could behave the way he did and do what he had done. Now I must focus my attention on getting things together to see what I can do about Alex as according to his testimony, he probably bludgeoned to death as he hit her repeatedly with an unloaded shotgun until she "just laid there". I just don't understand how someone could do something like this and not feel something about what he did. But it was as if it didn't bother him in the least. He had no remorse nor feeling for what he had done.
Unfortunately this person is still out on probation and the sentencing will not be done until July 10th. In the mean time he has shot another dog in Jansen, NE were my dog was killed and Carrie lived until yesterday. They still have done nothing to him.
